Finance Business Partner

Howarth Morris are looking to recruit an Part Qualified Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner for a high growth Retail/Distribution group in Warrington. The business has seen significant growth in recent years and have exciting plans for the future. This role is currently on the market due an internal promotion, which proves this a fantastic opportunity for any commercial focused part qualified accountant looking to enhance their career in a progressive, flexible and open working culture.

The Role

Support the Finance Business Partner by providing technical and commercial support for your assigned region through detailed and accurate financial planning, analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the production and review of group consolidated management accounts providing insightful commentary
Variance Analysis with commentary
Support Operations teams in driving performance through analysis of data and identifying trends to explain performance.
Make recommendations on areas of focus to the wider business and propose solutions based upon the data..
Support the delivery of robust financial control, including development and implementation of improvements in processes and procedures.
Highlight operational or financial risks and, where appropriate, supporting the resolution to minimising identified risks.
Build efficient working relationships with business partners and their teams. Candidate Requirements

Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Strong Excel skills (data visualisation, dashboard creation and manipulation of large data sets. VBA would be advantageous).
Strong commercial acumen.
Experience of various ERP systems and tools (Power BI and Tableau etc is desirable.)
Stakeholder management.
