Role –

The Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programmes. The function controls programme costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.

Manage multiple projects to meet project milestones, schedule and budget requirements.
Establishing, controlling and reporting programme schedule & costs against an overall WBS & budget.
Achieving acceptance of all elements of the programme to schedule and cost
Meeting programme sales and cash budgets and forecasting accurately
Identifying programme resource, skill and training requirements for the Resource Plan
Use Programme Performance Metrics (PPMs) to effectively manage all programmes
In conjunction with the System design Authorities hold progress reviews (as required)
Effective communication with all programme stakeholders to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships
Ultimate responsibility for risk management across all projects within the programme.
Plan and conduct internal, customer and sub–contractor progress reviews.
Approve all internal and subcontractor project management documentation
Planning and conducting effective internal, customer and sub–contractor progress reviews
Manage security of information as defined in the Security manual

Experience

Experience & background in engineering projects across any of the following or related areas; Software, Systems, Mechanical, Hardware, IT Engineering"
Proven experience in Project / Programme Delivery
Experience in stakeholder engagement
Experience in manging budgets.
