We are excited to have partnered with a global leading Media Agency who are recruiting for a Digital Account Director to join the Client Planning and Management team based in Manchester. As Digital Account Director, you'll be the lynchpin for digital strategy development and digital growth across your client portfolio, working in tandem with your client Business Directors and Channel Leads helping to deliver a digital first agenda for clients. You will help clients understand the digital growth opportunity with clients at different stages of the development journey and also different levels of digital maturity – flexing your knowledge and communication skills to help us build even stronger digital relationships in support of our clients' growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
* The operational delivery of the team's output, meaning you will work closely with clients and third–party platforms for campaign management, optimisation and reporting.
* Strategically, you will be responsible for responding to client briefs, delivering budget and performance forecasts, producing testing frameworks, managing social campaigns, analysing performance, and ultimately overseeing the end–to–end account management of client business.
* Build visibility and trust with multiple stakeholders – both internally and externally. They will see you as a reliable and trusted digital advisor.
* Plan and execute digital campaigns to a great standard
* Identify opportunities for development in more junior members of the team and ensured people have access to the right training/ opportunities.
* Deliver brilliant work to the client – building innovation into our plans, whether this is through smart tech, data, creative or audience insight
* Lead weekly client calls, assess and comment on performance, provide insights and make recommendations to drive efficiencies.
* Evolve performance reporting and insights function to empower our team to find, highlight and act upon programmatic insights on an ongoing basis.
* Working collaboratively with all, show a real passion for Digital.
Essential Skills:
* Media Agency experience is preferred – either current or past.
* Deep understanding of predominantly online channels but also a solid grasp of the whole media ecosystem, with a confidence to be able to talk at a mid–management level when needed without channel specialists' involvement.
* Good understanding of the whole digital landscape, particularly Display. From creating awareness through to growing lifetime value and the key factors of delivering successful performance in each.
* Strong campaign management – taking briefs, budget setting, briefing internal digital channel specialists, presenting strategies, plans, tests for approval, overseeing implementation, analysing performance, reporting, integrating with wider media and marketing plans.
* Ability to develop and articulate integrated Digital marketing roadmaps across multiple media channels, data & measurement
* Strong working knowledge of programmatic advertising
* High level of expertise in leveraging audience and data, growing reach, creative assets, automation, attribution and building collaborative client agency ways of working
* Proven track record of creating growth through optimising holistic marketing budgets and ongoing performance across multiple digital marketing channels
* Demonstrable evidence of managing medium – long term plans
* Comfortable identifying and deploying appropriate measurement frameworks for each of your clients
* Excellent storyteller – able to communicate effectively with a range of clients from senior stakeholders with limited digital knowledge to highly experienced and technically minded Digital leaders
* Ability to challenge a client when asking for things that will either undermine plans or unknowingly impact their ability to meet their objectives
