Our client is a thriving engineering consultancy based in Dunfermline and due to a healthy project pipeline, that secures work for several years they are looking to appoint an Associate Director.
Within this role you will be responsible for managing a small team of engineers, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that all projects are completed as per client briefs on time, to budget and to the highest possible standards.
Typical projects sectors include Industrial buildings, offices, educational facilities, residential and bespoke designs.
As you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered in line with Scottish building laws, you must be an SER Certifier to be considered for the role.
Duties of the successful Structural Engineer
Meet clients ensuring projects are completed as per brief, on time and to the highest standards
Prepare and direct designs, specifications, and progress reports
Develop, train and mentor more junior engineers
What you will need
A degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
MIStructE status
SER Registration
Experience within a similar role
Strong communication skills
