What will you be doing?

You will be leading the sales teams across the North East & Scotland. Supplying a strategic approach to sales management that fits with our national and group perspectives.

Through the leadership of a sales management team, you will identify and grow relevant target markets in line with the needs of the business by defining, communicating and implementing the high level strategy. You will develop a local & regional strategy and business plan to maximise growth opportunities within the group strategy

You will lead the sales function to secure and develop existing contracts and new business at required margins to deliver the regional strategy. Leading by example to motivate others and drive high performance and culture across the Sales function

What are we looking for?

A motivational leader with experience in coaching and developing a high performing team
Significant experience obtained in senior sales management/leadership including management of large national multi discipline sales teams and associated functions (sales office, marketing and development)
Knowledge of the wider key regional & local customer base, market drivers/trends and competition within the same.
Knowledge of the commercial business
Strong communication skills including negotiating and influencing
Strategic based approach
Leadership skills, the ability to attract, train and mentor a sales management team
A high degree of motivation, autonomy and drive
