An organisation who regulates auditors and ensure high standards of corporate audit and reporting are set are currently seeking to appoint a Project Associate. Within this varied role, you will join the team and support with overseeing the Audit Monitoring.

An organisation who regulates auditors and ensure high standards of corporate audit and reporting are set are currently seeking to appoint a Project Associate. Within this varied role, you will join the team and support with overseeing the Audit Monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the oversight of the bodies, with a focus on overseeing audit monitoring activities that are conducted by supervisory bodies
- Shadowing audit monitoring visits performed by the bodies to their UK firms and providing commentary/reports around this
- Building rapport with professional bodies through effective stakeholder engagement
- Reviewing documentation, ensuring high quality completion, ensuring policies/procedures are embedded, and identifying relevant trends
- Supporting across the teams on various project work
The successful candidate:
- Chartered accountant with an audit qualification
- Experience of audit quality reviews and the policies/procedures in place to drive audit quality
- Ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- A team play with solid organisation skills and a proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- A strong desire to move into regulation and contribute to the monitoring of audit quality
