C4S Search are representing an exciting, marketing leading manufacturing business. We are searching for a superstar to fill a newly created Head of Quality and Production Process.
The Role
You will implement strategic and tactical Quality & Production Process workstreams aimed at exceeding customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, optimising production quality levels and supporting operational excellence.
* Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market and in a sustained manner.
* Lead and manage the quality & production process function from new product conception through to warranty analysis to ensure a proactive culture so that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible.
* Provide leadership to quality & production process departments, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions
The Superstars experience
* Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
* Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent NVQ Level 7 qualification or appropriate senior level work experience
* Experienced in ISO 9000 quality systems with specific reference to maintenance of these systems in conjunction with lean processes
* Analytical/Statistical Tools & Methods – Knowledge of a wide range of problem solving tools & methods, including statistics, combined with the ability to select & apply them to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality.
