The role
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hoddesdon & Farringdon based, with some regional travel

As a Business Analyst you will form part of the VolkerWessels UK ICT Projects team, delivering a high–profile internal solution to automate and integrate the technology solutions across the organisation.
You will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders, from within ICT and the wider business, and the technical delivery teams to document requirements and specifications, map out, analyse, and document the relevant business processes. You will have experience in the modelling and designing the solution and assist in the implementation and shaping the QA testing.
Key Accountabilities
Liaising with key stakeholders to fully understand requirements and specifications
Keeping close contact with different stakeholders to manage expectations
Quickly understands both business issues and technical challenges, in order to identify and address potential gaps
Defines and documents requirements and specifications, business processes, workflows, and reporting outputs
Critically evaluates information from multiple sources for a deeper understanding of the underlying business needs
Participates and contributes in the design and solutioning sessions undertaken by the technical teams
Actively manages and prioritises the product backlogs and development roadmaps
Develops testing plans and executes quality assurance and functional testing
Ensures issues are identified, documented, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned.Skills & Experience
Strong analytical and problem–solving skills required, including an understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into clear requirements that can be picked up by the development team
Excellent attention to detail, as this will reflect in the quality of the captured specifications
Able to be self–motivated, set priorities and work autonomously on assigned or committed tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Visio, Excel???)
Good technical skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly
Familiarity with .NET applications and enterprise application integration is a plus
Knowledge of construction industry is a plus but not essential
Demonstrable and relevant experience in similar roles is required
Experience of IT Projects using differing delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps) in a complex environment.Other
