Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a successful, North Yorkshire based Engineering business to recruit a Programme Manager.
My client is a well–established engineering firm, who deliver turnkey industrial automation solutions across various manufacturing industries.
The Programme Manager will report to the Projects Director and be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple high risk projects, on time, on budget and to the required quality from sales handover to completion of SAT.
The Programme Manager's duties will include:
* Act as main customer contact throughout project lifetime
* Ensure project estimates, budgets, schedules and staffing are in line with project plans
* Communicate the required deliverables from external and internal customers and suppliers
* Drive and enable a positive project and team culture
* Provide leadership to the virtual project teams to drive focus on key deliverables
* Liaise with the sales teams to identify risk and plan mitigation strategies
* Plan the programme, define high level milestones, monitor overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action where necessary; ensure project deliverables are to time, quality and budget, manage communications
* Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 and support a culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement
Elevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills & experience:
* Qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline
* Experienced in Project Management, ideally Prince2, APM, PMI etc. accredited
* Knowledge of automated production / packaging machinery
* Ability to elicit co–operation from a wide variety of sources
* Ability to drive forward and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent IT Skills, including MS Project. ERP/MRP/SAP planning software
