Sales and Operations Director (Mortgage & Property Finance Brokerage)

About the opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing mortgage and property finance brokerage business specialising in both regulated and non–regulated products.

We are ready and well–positioned for the next stage in our company's development and have a brilliant role to offer the right individual.

This Sales and Operations Director opportunity will involve working with the CEO and the team of brokers to drive the business so that it meets its business plan objectives.

The duties are varied, and you will have influence and management over the key areas of sales team management, compliance and risk, marketing, and ensuring we meet our business targets.

Key functions will include:

Essential Skills

* At least two years sales management or team management experience

* Proven ability to sell and teach the team of brokers how to sell property finance products

* Managing a Training and Competence Scheme

* Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing staff ideally to CAS(Competent Advisor Status)

* Previous experience working as a mortgage broker

* CEMap qualified

* Knowledge of the Data Protection, including GDPR and Anti–Money Laundering Regulations

* Experience in using Excel

* Highly organised, methodical and disciplined.

* Strong leadership and coaching skills, able to enable our team to be the best they can be.

* Emotionally intelligent.

* Previous use of Twenty7Tec and 360LC would be an advantage, though not essential.

* Must meet the Fit & Proper requirements

This is an office based role in our office in Norwich, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Benefits:

* Salary – GBP50,000 per annum plus override commission of the gross fees generated by your team of brokers

* OTE GBP100,000

* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
