We are working in partnership with our valued client, a not for profit housing developer and affordable housing provider based in Cornwall, who have an urgent requirement for an experienced Technical Manager to join their team as Head of technical.
You will work with the Managing Director, to develop and implement the Group's development strategy and business plan.
Show strategic leadership and develop progressive policies and approaches to service delivery, supporting staff and customers.
Contribute to the strategic management as part of the Senior Management Team.
Liaise with Development team to deliver the Group's New Homes Strategy, including, financial, operational and profit targets and pro–actively manage the associated risk.
Provide and maintain pre construction programme, including land acquisition, appraisal, planning & development programme.
Drive efficiencies in the design process whilst ensuring the buildability of schemes, to produce a positive rate of return which meets or exceeds business plan objectives.
Effectively manage the Technical team to ensure best practices are followed, costs are controlled and the department maximises revenue generation and contribution to the companies operating profit.
Ensure high levels of quality and customer satisfaction in the provision of product, design and services. A customer first approach is required with both internal and external customers.
Lead, manage and communicate effectively with Technical team; supporting staff development and performance whilst ensuring behaviours and values are in line with the business requirements
