Business Development Manager – Decorative Surfaces
Job Title: Business Development Managers x2 – High End Decorative Surfaces
Industry Sector: High End Surfaces, Surface, Architectural Surfaces, Natural Stone, Granite, Marble, Quartz, Stone Surfaces, Kitchen Worktops, Kitchen Surfaces, Bathroom Surfaces, Decorative Surfaces, Decorative Panels, Panelling, Distributors, Fabricators, KBB, Architects, Specifiers
Area to be covered: London (commutable to Harlow)
Remuneration: GBP35,000 – GBP37,000 + 20% of basic salary bonus
Benefits: circa GBP550 car allowance and full benefits package
The role of the Business Development Managers x2 – High End Surfaces will involve:
* Field sales position selling a high quality high end range of stone surfaces for the kitchen, bathroom, wall panelling and architectural market
* When not out visiting customers our client would like you to be based from their high end showroom in Harlow
* All of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via KBB retailers / showrooms, fabricators, manufacturers, builders, architects and specifiers
* Dealing with projects from initial concept through to completion
* Dealing with a wide range of order values from GBP500 – GBP50k + depending on scope and scope
* Target will be set depending on experience
* Participating in marketing events, exhibitions and seminars to promote products
The ideal applicant will be Business Development Managers x2 – High End Decorative Surface with:
* Ideally have construction sales experience however would consider someone working within a retailer, showroom or specification facility
* Ideally from an interior decorative / aesthetic building products background such as: high end surfaces, surfaces, worktops, natural stone, quarts, granite, stone, flooring, tiles, kitchen surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, wall coverings, cladding, lighting etc
* Would potentially consider someone from an interior design background
* Ideally dealt with kbb distributors, contractors, interior designers and architects (not essential
* Capable of managing projects from specification through to completion
* IT literate and able to use a CRM system
* Hungry, dynamic, hard working and entrepreneurial personality
