Based from the firms Long Eaton office you will oversee the delivery of audit, accounts and significant planning and business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. You will develop and build strong relationship with clients, in a client facing capacity and will work across the entire firms client range on complex and rewarding advisory work.

An independent firm of chartered accountants with multiple offices across Nottingham, this firm have been well established in the area for a number of decades and are looking to further this through another addition into their leadership team.

The firm's clients are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range, from entrepreneurial start-ups, sole traders, partnerships and significant proportion of OMBs and SMEs, ranging from into the £millions in turnover, to considerably larger corporate clients

Description

Joining this firm as a Director / Partner, dependent on the background of the right candidate you will bring a career strength and background as an all-round accounts, tax and audit adviser to sole traders, partnerships and mix of limited company OMBs, groups, subsidiaries, charities, not for profit and other clients.

You will manage a sizeable fee base of clients, in a client facing advisory capacity and all round advisor, looking to develop relationships with the clients and drive the growth of this office for the future in a business development focused capacity. The right individual will look to advise clients on a wide ranging, accounting, tax, business planning, profitability maximisation, succession, share options, etc as a trusted go to advisor. You will manage the wider team and oversee the delivery of compliance and advisory projects, working with the wider management and support team on this.

The office has huge potential for further growth and expansion and you will play a lead role in the future development and direction of this already successful firm of accountants.

You will work closely alongside your fellow partners, networking, delivering seminars and developing relationships and look to further the growth and development of the firm, carving a key position within this highly successful firm of accountants.

Profile
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA Qualified
  • Strong background in practice as a general practitioner
  • Experience successfully leading a team
  • Holding a practising certificate is desirable but not a must
