Working with a multi–billion pound turnover brand who are looking to bring on a new Head of Procurement for their Strategy and Insights area. This is a permanent role paying up to GBP95,000 base + GBP6,000 car allowance + 65% bonus and private healthcare.

What you need to do

– Working with the Procurement Leadership Team, define, develop and deliver the strategy for the Procurement team across key future facing themes for the group and the industry including:
o Plan for Better and Sustainability – changing how we source to meet business commitments
o Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) – working with relevant stakeholders to set up new SRM framework across business, in particular Business Services
o Save To Invest – measurement and accurate reporting on commercial benefits, as well as procurement's ability to drive efficiency

– Ownership of all procurement frameworks, policies and processes – ensuring how we source and the supporting processes remain fit for purpose, adapting to the changing demands of the business and external environment. This includes:
o End to End sourcing for cGBP3bn of spend
o Risk management and assurance
o Supplier due diligence

– Lead the change management across the Procurement team and business to ensure new ways of working, systems and processes are embedded effectively – this is through pro–active engagement and inspiring leadership, and building cross functional teams where required
– Lead contact for internal and external teams to connect with the GNFR Procurement team including sustainability, Legal, Finance, Audit and PR/Comms
– Define the future procurement systems roadmap and build business cases for technology investment. Manage and drive forward relationships with all external tool providers including sourcing tools, data insights tools
– Lead the Procurement team as part of the leadership team, leading the cross–team agenda and people strategy
– Maintain understanding of new technology developments, best practice, and emerging ways of working in order to inform our functional strategy and future opportunities
