Solicitor / Associate – Head of Department – Private Family Law
Leamington Spa / Hybrid Working
GBP60,000 to GBP80,000 per annum plus benefits and excellent career prospects
We are working in partnership with a leading, Lexcel accredited, Legal 500–recognised law firm, with an enviable reputation, who are seeking an experienced Private Family Law Solicitor, Associate, Head of Department, Director or Team Leader to head up their busy Private Family Law Department in Leamington Spa.
You would be very well supported by experienced support staff, colleagues and directors.
As a Private Family Law Department Head, the role will involve:
* Managing the Private Family Law Department
* Leading the Private Family Law Team
* Undertaking financial management and budgeting for the Private Family Law Department
* Ensuring compliance
* Monitoring performance and development of staff
* Managing your own caseload of Private Family Law matters including divorce, child contact and financial settlements, keeping clients fully updated of progress
Suitable Candidates will have:
* 5 years'+ PQE as a Private Family Law Solicitor or Private Family Law Chartered Legal Executive
* Experience as an Associate Solicitor, Head of Department, Partner, or Director preferred
* Law Society or Resolution accreditations preferred, but not essential
* Excellent people management skills and experience of managing a team
* Experience of case management systems and time recording
* An understanding of legal accounting systems
This is a full–time permanent position, based in Leamington Spa. Flexible/hybrid working patterns can be accommodated.
