Finance Director
Are you a Finance Director with experience of working at that level within the construction sector? If so this position could be perfect for you.
Package:
Up to GBP120,000 for the right experience

Income Protection – 70% of salary after 3 months
Holiday 25 days increases after 2 years
Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for managing, leading, and setting the strategy for the Finance Department and ensure that the company has strong financial controls and processes.
Responsible for timely production of monthly management accounts & board packs, VAT returns, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and audit as well as improving processes and implementing controls.
Working in collaboration with the Commercial Department to assist them in the preparation of quotations to ensure work undertaken archives maximum profitability and recoup old retention balances and collect sums due to various group companies
A proactive member of the management board and company director.
Working with the Managing Director to achieve business growth and maximise profitability.
Minimum Qualifications:
CIMA
ACCA
Experience:
Proven track record of successfully managing diverse teams in the Construction Industry.
Management of Procurement is desirable
Effective financial planning, budget and cost management in the Construction Industry
Managing internal controls, setting financial targets and engaging with shareholder.
Developing financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance.
Experience as part of a leadership team and Board member to drive growth
Proven track record of achieving targets
Working Capital and cashflow management experience
Construction experience is essential
An affinity with numbers and the ability to interpret them for others
Significant experience of operating at senior management
Commerciality and in–depth understanding of the business, its markets and customers
Ability to support and challenge the MD and Board
