Commercial / Residential Property lawyer

South East

GBP40 – 45 per hour

Remote Working

A popular local authority in the South East are seeking a commercial / residential property lawyer to join their team for an initial 3 month period with the view for extension. This is a remote working role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial property lawyer to join a friendly and supportive team.

The property lawyer will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of legal advice within their team, where they will be expected to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

This position will be fast–paced and it is therefore imperative the property lawyer is confident in handling a full caseload consisting of, but not limited to, the following matters:

  • General property advice
  • Commercial leases, Acquisition and sale of commercial and residential property
  • Particular experience in dealing with purchases for shared ownership development including; s104 and 38 agreements, right to buys and shared ownership plot sales, staircasing and transfers, first registrations, dead of easements and release of restrictive covenants

A commercial property lawyer with local authority experience is highly preferable, however our client is willing to consider Property lawyers from other backgrounds with transferable skills.
