HR Business Partner
Location: Croydon Head Office with Hybrid working
Salary: c GBP50,000 per annum + extensive benefits package including Civil Service pension
Tenure: Permanent
Position Type: Full–Time
Our client protects millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. When these schemes fail, they're ready to help. They do this by paying their members, by charging a levy and by investing sustainably. Their work has a real impact on people's lives, so they strive to do it well, with integrity and their future in mind.
They're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their busy HR Team.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Business Partner will work in assigned business areas to provide day to day guidance, advice, coaching and hands–on support for managers on all aspects of the employee life cycle. This role supports the Head of HR and the Head of Organisational Development in delivering the Directorate people plans which have been defined.
This is a hands–on business partnering role, and typical responsibilities include leading on the delivery of people initiatives across business units, ensuring activities and outcomes are aligned to people plan objectives, working with recruitment partners to identify resourcing needs and emerging talent, building long–lasting relationships with key stakeholders including Senior Leadership teams and ensuring a flexible approach to situations that's not solely governed by policy and process.
They're seeking individuals with comprehensive generalist HR experience including employee relations, supplemented by a CIPD qualification. Also important to us is adept communication and stakeholder management skills in order to obtain favourable business outcomes. An understanding of current employment law (and best practice) is essential as well as a logical, rational and flexible approach to situations, enabling optimal solutions to be achieved
Sound like you? Apply now.
In return for your skills, experience and commitment they'll give you a challenging role within a business where you'll get the support you need to develop your career.
You'll also get an outstanding rewards package which includes a discretionary bonus scheme, private medical insurance, health cash plan, critical illness insurance, holiday trading, volunteering leave and a choice of generous defined benefit or defined contribution pension scheme.
They'll also give you lots of opportunities for personal development and skills training.
Their Croydon office is just across the road from East Croydon station, which is around 15 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge, 10 minutes from Clapham Junction or half an hour from St Pancras.
They are a Disability Confident Leader, the highest accreditation under the Disability Confident Scheme. If you have a disability and meet the essential criteria for this role you will be guaranteed an interview.
They embrace diverse talent welcoming people with different beliefs, backgrounds and ways of working, and they aim to create an environment in which everyone can be themselves.
They are a flexible organisation and welcome the opportunity to talk about what arrangements may work best for you.
