On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Graduate Recruitment Partner – Banking Sector for a 10 months maternity cover contract based in Marylebone 2 or 3 days per week and at home the rest.
Purpose of the Role:
The UK Early Careers Team looks after all campus attraction, recruitment and development including graduates, summer internships, long–term internships and spring insight participants.
This role, reporting to the Head of Early Careers, will focus on the operational and strategic delivery of an excellent campus recruitment service for the designated business lines (mainly Global Banking and Functions) with the support of the GB and Functions Coordinator
London based events travel may be required for this role, especially in peak–campus recruitment season (October to November)
As a Graduate Recruitment Partner – Banking Sector you will be responsible for:
Recruitment
Delivering a high volume of campus hires across designated business lines.
Coordinating the end to end process including, but not limited to: reviewing CVs, producing and reviewing shortlists, scheduling interviews and designing and facilitating assessment centres.
Ongoing engagement with business stakeholders.
Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (currently Oleeo) and the digital assessment centre platform (currently Tazio), including but not limited to; managing candidates through the process and logging interviews and feedback.
Guiding hiring managers through interview and selection processes, helping to educate best practice and team policies and processes including unconscious bias and the importance of diverse hiring.
Overseeing the on–boarding and visa processes of these individuals through collaboration with the HR Connect team and International Mobility team, managed by the GB and Functions Coordinator.
Making group presentations to students, graduates, interns and other stakeholders.
Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the HR Business Partners and becoming a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business stakeholders.
Driving projects & process reviews to improve our campus recruiting as designated by the Head of Early Careers, including driving improvements and changes to our ATS, application and testing processes, with candidate experience always in mind.
Oversight of and involvement in other Global Banking and Functions recruitment (including for example interns, long term interns) as required.
Managing the conversion of Risk and Banking Summer Interns to Graduates, working closely with the relevant business stakeholdersProgramme Management
Management of allocation of GB Summer Intern placements, including pre–programme events, placement surveys and allocation discussions with the business
Management of allocation of GB Graduate rotations, including pre–programme rotation events, rotation surveys and allocation discussions with the business with support from the Head of Early Careers as needed
Working with the Recruitment Specialist on the keep warm programme for GB and Functions Interns and Graduates
Campus Marketing and Candidate Attraction
Work closely with our external creative agency to define which universities and societies should be targeted and sponsored each campus season
Work closely with the Recruitment Partner, Recruitment Specialist, Development Partner and Head of Early Careers to ensure the university and society strategy is aligned with our overall campus attraction and marketing objectives.
Oversight of university–specific campus events at target universities in the UK and Europe
Management of society sponsorship and activities to ensure our candidate attraction strategy is up to date, innovative and timelyWhat we require from the candidate:
An ability to articulate a keen interest in recruitment and / or candidate attraction and ideally an interest in working in a campus recruitment team
Experience of working in a global, matrix organisation –financial services or more widely considered.
A solid understanding and awareness of UK campus recruitment trends (wider European knowledge could be an advantage).
Volume recruitment experience, ideally campus recruitment, where the applicant has managed candidates through the end to end process.
Proven ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven and rapidly changing environment
Experience of ATS systems. (desirable)
An excellent communicator across a range of different stakeholders; including candidates, hiring managers, HR, business stakeholders and external relationships with key universities / schools.
Attention to detail.
An ability to multitask with many simultaneous activities at once.
