Homebased – South–East England – Regional People Business Partner
We're looking for a People Business Partner to join a fantastic charity who deliver high–quality residential care and supported living services to adults with learning and physical disabilities. You'll support and advise managers across your region in all areas of people management and organisational change. As the Regional People Business Partner, you'll influence strategy in support of business goals and help to strengthen the organisation for the future through the ability to attract, train, motivate and develop high–quality people to deliver the company's services.
On offer is a salary of GBP42,000, 25+8 days annual leave, employee assistance and wellbeing programme, life assurance and occupational sick pay, plus the opportunity to be part of a team who truly love making a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults.
The Regional People Business Partner role
* Support managers in addressing large volumes of case work, including performance management, absence management and dispute resolution. Through insight and trend analysis, work to address and minimize these cases
* Ensure that staffing structures are fit for purpose and support recruitment and selection activities to effectiveness. Advise managers of the appropriate remuneration scales
* Develop a deep understanding of manager's business needs and work with them to give pragmatic guidance3 in all areas of people management
* Support line managers in leading and delivering change including restructures, reorganization, consultation, TUPE and redundancy
You'll be home–based but with travel to services when needed. You'll support a number of care services across South–East England – covering Essex, North London, Bournemouth and West Sussex.
The Successful Candidate
* We're ideally looking for someone with solid generalist HR experience, who has worked as a People Business Partner or similar previously. It would be great if you have experience of adult social care, but it's not essential.
* You'll demonstrate sound knowledge of the key principles of HR practice and employment law
* YOu'll be CIPD level 5 or above qualified
* You'll be a driver with your own vehicle and happy to travel when required.
* Will have skills in change management, TUPE, ER casework, diagnosing problems and influencing and motivating people.
