Compass Life Sciences are working in partnership with a leading UK CRO in their search to appoint a Project Director. Our client is a specialist in vaccines discovery and treatment of infectious diseases, a rapidly expanding area of projects in this area has meant our client is going through a significant period of growth.
This is a crucial role for the business and as such the right candidate must be an experienced project Manager in a clinical environment who has an ability to delegate appropriate tasks as well as take a hands on approach and lead from the front. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Project Manager who is looking to take onus of new projects and see through development of new breakthroughs in clinical research.
Requirements
Experience leading clinical projects in a Pharmaceutical or CRO setting.
Thorough knowledge of ICH GCP and working familiarity with UK SI regulations (for Project Director of Clinical Projects).
Experience in Phase I & II Clinical trials is preferred.
Life Sciences degree or equivalent. PhD would be desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams.
Working Hybrid with offices in London.
Responsibilities
Given the current team size and the pivotal time for the business it is crucial that the ideal candidate has a hands–on approach as well as the ability to delegate. The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of the project or programme to timelines, within budget and to agreed quality standards. You will also be responsible for the project team management, vendor and client oversight and ensure compliance with all project accountabilities to ICH–GCP and specific SOPs.
