UP TO GBP35,000 + OTE GBP40–45k + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

We now have a new exciting opportunity for an Experienced Business Development Manager for Chester and the North West. You'll need to take a strategic sales approach to seek out new business opportunities within the region and identifying key contacts to acquire business.

Key Skills and responsibilities of the job;

This Business Development Manager is required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and products.
Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, or any other means of generating interest from potential clients.
You will be persuasive and have an ability to pitch to convince potential clients to do business
Booking and attend face to face and video meetings with key decision makers
You will need to manage and assist the activities of support staff at times.
Preparing proposals for client consideration and progressing viable opportunities through to contract
This requires a thorough knowledge of the market and the solutions that company can provide, and competitors.
Undertaking a consultative and solutions–based sales approach

The Person

Excellent Management and People Skills
Smart professional personal appearance
Clear and positive communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills
Relevant experience with face to face customer sales in a similar environment or possesses the underlying traits to fulfil this role.
Must be a driven individual who strives to consistently bring in new business as well as maintaining existing accounts.
Construction supplies experience preferred but not essential

Education and Qualifications;

A good level of verbal, written and numerical literacy
Must hold a Full UK driving licence
At least 12 months experience within a similar role
