CASE is a global, not–for–profit membership association whose vision is to advance education to transform lives and society. Our mission is to inspire, challenge and equip communities of advancement professionals to champion the success of their institutions. Advancing education in more than 3,100 member institutions in 80 countries, CASE serves more than 97,000 individuals and is the global home for advancement professionals, providing the standards and competencies that define the profession. Communities of professional practice gather under the global CASE umbrella: these include alumni relations, advancement services, communications, fundraising, government relations, and marketing. CASE uses the intellectual capital and professional talents of an extensive network of volunteers, and increased investment in research and data, to advance its work with a focus on institutional relationships, reputation, and revenue.

Following the creation of our new strategic plan, Championing Advancement: CASE 2022– 2027, we now seek an engaging and values–driven individual to join us as Executive Director to lead our European region. The successful candidate will grow CASE's membership and impact across Europe, influencing institutional leaders and ensuring continued value and relevance for universities, schools and other education institutions across the region. Bringing inspiring leadership to our extensive volunteer community and our London based team, the Executive Director is a member of the global Senior Leadership Team, working with leaders in our other operating regions of US & Canada, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, and with the Vice–Presidents and members of the Executive Leadership Team who provide leadership across CASE's strategic portfolios. The position collaborates with CASE professionals worldwide, and is a pivotal role for CASE.

You will be responsive, ambitious, and a compelling advocate for advancing education – bringing gravitas and credibility as an ambassador to present our mission with professionalism and passion. You will have a track record of leadership and influencing positive change; and a clear ability to communicate effectively with a breadth of stakeholders, including those at very senior levels. A knowledge of advancement is desirable as is an understanding of working as part of a global organisation with a matrix structure which brings together staff in different locations into dynamic professional families.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., CASE works across all continents from its offices in London, Singapore, Perth (Australia), and Mexico City. We are committed, in all that we do, to be collaborative, inclusive, and embracing of diversity.
