Estates/Building Services Director and Chief Engineer, Facilities

My client a facilities services business in the Defence sector, is seeking a Director of Building Services/Estates with a chartered engineering qualification and a building services services technical background.

In this critical leadership role, you would provide strategic direction for all estate infrastructure management including Hard FM Maintenance, Technical, Energy, Sustainability, Grounds, Trees, SUDS, Safe Systems of work and Fire Management, Additionally you'd deputise for the MD, manage a large team of technical specialists, chair key business meetings and forums and manage stakeholder relationships.

* Manage a group of 50+ employees

* Plan, develop and implement estate strategy, policy and processes

* Manage a multi–million pound budget

* Lead, implement and maintain building management systems and sustainability strategies

* Identify a programme of selection, specification and product procurement for in–service equipment options

To apply you should have

* Chartered engineering, CIBSE or CIOB qualification

* Experience of a leadership role in a TFM total facilities management environment for a sizeable estate

* Outstanding communication, presentation, collaboration and stakeholder management skills

* PFI experience advantageous
