Finance Manager - Revenue £65,000 Reading

A well-established organization with a great reputation is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team of smart and motivated people. The role will entail:
  • Revenue recognition accounting, compliant with US GAAP and UK GAAP.
  • Manage all revenue reporting, forecasting and flash reporting.
  • Review and understand costing for new contracts.
  • Understanding of local statutory requirements.
  • Manage a team of 2 Financial Accountants and participate in new staff inductions ensuring all staff understand and can adhere to finance & operational requirements.
  • Produce monthly accrued and deferred revenue accounting entries in accordance with revenue recognition statutory requirements
You will need to have at least 10 years relevant experience including revenue recognition knowledge with a professional accounting accreditation i.e. CIMA, ACCA. Strong organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills with an ability to establish key relationships with a number of stakeholders. Attention to detail and a good knowledge of Excel and ability to flex hours during periods of high demand. e.g. month end accounting.

The role can be as office or remote based as per the preference of the individual.
