We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director to join our Team based from our Office based in Bromsgrove (B61).

The mission of the sales director's will be to accelerate the growth of revenues for the business. They will create and deliver sales strategies and play a crucial role in the success of our organisation.

The sales director will have considerable responsibility for the performance of a company's sales and its standing in the marketplace.

This will involve dealing with sales documents, liaising with senior management to set sales goals for the organisation. They will also develop and implement sales plans and work to generate leads for the business.

Our ideal candidate will have industry experience, be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help grow the revenues for the business. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join our team of like–minded self–starters to achieve our company vision.

What does the role involve for a Sales Director?

Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans, and profit targets.

  • Maximise Company profit.
  • Create strong and effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets.
  • Manage the sales forecast and budgets.
  • Maximising new business development opportunities.
  • Analyse current sales strategy and suggest solutions for improvement.
  • Develop and consult with colleagues to develop sales and marketing approaches.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business tenders to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Support new business structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive tenders and proposals.
  • Produce reports for the board of directors on sales pipeline, forecasting and growth.
  • Represent the business at conferences and networking events.
