Are you an experienced Senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager that has worked in a fast–paced technology or professional services business? Are you a hands–on HR professional who is equally comfortable delivering and implementing strategy as you are developing it? We have an exciting role working for an international business that requires an experienced candidate who will be responsible for HR across their UK operations and a US based team!
Moving to fully remote working, candidates must be able to commute to Hertfordshire or London for occasional meetings.
The role will be heavily involved in some interesting projects across employment engagement and culture, diversity and inclusion, an office move, rolling out fully remote working, developing performance management system, compensation and benefits, managing internal communications and ensuring collaboration across the UK and US teams. A stand alone role in the UK. working closely with a small HR team in America.
Role overview:
- Work closely with Directors in the UK business to deal with HR strategy and projects
- Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders across the UK and US business
- Act as key UK lead in managing employee engagement and culture.
- Build collaborative relationships across the global business to support organisational and people–related strategies and processes
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives targeting job satisfaction, enhanced employee engagement, improved working relationships and diversity and inclusion
- Engage with leadership to provide HR expertise on HR policies and procedures, legal compliance, coaching, career development, performance management, succession planning, and talent management.
- Contribute to the design and administration of compensation and employee benefit programs
- Assist with full cycle recruitment activities such as pre–screening, interviewing, recommending and coordinating interviews with the executive staff
- Oversee the office management functions for UK location including managing vendor relationships.
- Responsible for employee relations for the UK based employees
Candidate requirements:
- Experience at Senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager level
- Must come from a technology OR professional services environment
- Strong generalist HR experience
- Hard working but fun and energetic character
