7twenty Professional Search is partnering exclusively with one of Northern Ireland's largest architectural practices as they seek to appoint a Head of People. Our award–winning client works across the public and private sectors, with extensive experience in specialisms such as Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure and Cultural schemes.
This is a new position for the company and the Head of People will lead, develop, and implement a best–in–class strategy to optimise and harness the contribution and performance of all employees. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the HR function provides a proactive and innovative approach to Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, and Employee Engagement Initiatives.
The Head of People will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective performance management system across the company with the overall aim of inspiring and enabling a high–performance culture, in line with the company's mission and strategic vision.
This is a key role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement meaningful initiatives and processes to support the exciting growth plans of the company.
The successful individual should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Significant experience within a senior HR role within a fast–paced, commercial environment.
- Successful track record in leading and developing a high performing, solutions–focused HR function across emphasis on implementing effective recruitment, retention, staff engagement and learning and development practices.
- Extensive experience of leading and successfully implementing cultural change, transformation and learning and development programmes.
- Sound working knowledge of employment legislation within UK & Ireland.
It is desirable to have experience of operating across a multi–site environment and chartered membership of the CIPD.
