Our innovation driven environment provides a great opportunity for an individual to work alongside some of the best in the climate analytics field, in a fast growing and supportive team. Our projects cut across all economic sectors impacted by climate change including the financial sectors, public sector, energy, industrial and agricultural. As a Director of Product and Services Delivery you will be required to engage with our clients (at C–level in many cases) from the financial services, private and public sectors, CRH colleagues and across WTW's senior management team, to lead, and deliver CRH and WTW flagship climate and resilience projects from ideation, through incubation to operational delivery. In this role you will be required to work with multi–disciplinary teams with digital, analytics, technology, research and business backgrounds, using your agile product management skills and formal project management techniques to help productise deliver to the market our innovative and scale analytical methods, tools and services. You will also develop a CRH team project management process which can be applied by other CRH colleagues across multiple business areas and applications.The Role
  • Contribute to the overarching business vision/strategy of WTW's Climate and Resilience Hub (CRH) and how it drives our climate analytics innovation and product & services development agenda.
  • Direct the delivery of product and services strategies and roadmaps, ensuring teams are focused and working to tight timelines and implementation and delivery schedules.
  • Support the development of, and facilitate, building strong relationships and good communication with clients, business partners, team members and colleagues from across our global hubs and understand how they drive and inform our activities.
  • Monitor the development of in–house client, innovation and research driven tools or methodologies and help identify where scalable opportunities exist for operationalising and productising.
  • Develop relationships with internal owners of data and diagnostic platforms, IT and software departments to understand the skills and inhouse capabilities and platforms that can be leveraged for product development.
The Requirements
  • Strong leadership and excellent project, budget and people management skills, including experience engaging with C–level client stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the product owners, development teams and business analysts to understand use cases and translating these into high quality user stories and end products and services.
  • Understand WTW's processes and systems that facilitate, manage and document:
    • product development lifecycles from innovation / incubation / conceptualisation, to prototyping / Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development
    • QA/QC, testing and validation
    • full scale implementation
    • release and operational service maintenance.
  • Understand and manage the dependencies between our own project and product teams and other relevant teams, platform and product owners within WTW.
  • Facilitate and advocate the agile working methods and be a subject matter expert on various methodologies, tools and approaches.
  • Review and analyse team performance and implementing recommendations to improve quality and speed of delivery.
  • Suggest changes to initial product and service design for cost, efficiency, production or delivery purposes.
  • Support the development of product and service licensing and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Define, and report on, performance against key success metrics and drive continued improvement on these.
Languages
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Fluency in other languages is highly desirable.
