DComm Business Analyst
10 month assignment
Pay: PAYE GBP195.00 per day/Umbrella GBP260.00 Per day.
Remote working with access to London.
The Job.
Over the past couple of years, Mars Wrigley has made significant progress to define Digital Demand strategy & foundational capabilities, which are critical to stay relevant and competitive in a world where consumers are increasingly shifting towards digital channels, especially post COVID–19. Having said that we have an opportunity to accelerate our presence and growth within DComm and move from an organisation that Is slow and silo–ed to a Centre of Acceleration Is Fully enabled by automation tools (e.g., for content creation, work–flow mg–mt.) to focus on insights
The key purpose of this role is to work with digital commerce (dComm) business teams across Europe to accelerate the business through insights fuelled by data & analytics. It requires a keen understanding of the levers that drive digital commerce growth, and the ability to listen and partner within the business teams to translate their needs into applicable actions, ranging anywhere between product & portfolio to trade & promotions.
Context and Scope.
Partner with global content team, Dcomm Sales, category & marketing team, Global digital perfect store, analytics.
Connect regularly and work with Content & Conversion hub and data and analytics hub to identify key opportunities and initiatives
Connect with local Dcomm teams to drive synergies and efficiency's of learning's, campaigns, and opportunities to scale
Active participant in Digital Global Community sharing learning's to build capability.Key Responsibilities.
Partner with market dcomm teams to understand their requirements and needs and identify the opportunities where data & analytics can benefit and grow the business.
Analyse digital shelf, sales, and other dcomm related data through multiple data sources, requiring a foundational data wrangling ability, and derive and present insights in the form of business recommendations.
Apply custom Python/R models against new regional data sets to leverage and tune predictive digital shelf and promotions models.
Expand Mars Wrigley's internal dComm data product into Europe, translating observed business needs into product capabilities and features, and working with IT on a development and delivery schedule. Define reporting frameworks and create/manage dashboards and visualisation built on this product.
Report on DComm business performance across the region (e.g., customer P&Ls, market share, spend efficiency), liaising with Finance and other Insights & Analytics teams where necessary.
Define global dComm measurement plans for the region, as well as digital shelf and campaign testing approaches (e.g., A/B testing) and provide on–going support to set–up and measure test results.Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in businessKnowledge / Experience
Experience working within an eCommerce business function
Hands–on experience applying analytics to sales data with additional causal factors like traffic, price & promotions, etc.
Hands–on experience using key customer platforms like Amazon ARA, Dunnhumby, etc
Working knowledge and experience with Python and/or R as well as SQL, for data cleansing and analysis
Expert in Excel and strong proficiency in visualisation tools like Tableau and Power–BI
Ability to "story tell" with data and present insights in a way that's understandable and actionable
Strong communication and organisation skills, with comfort–ability working in a cross–matrix–ed organisation
