This is a fast track route to Finance Director and to be part of the senior management team in a successful SME business who offer hybrid working, bonus and shares in the company.

This is a fast track route to Finance Director and to be part of the senior management team in a successful SME business who offer hybrid working, bonus and shares in the company.
The Role:
This Financial Controller role based near Bishops Stortford will report into the current Finance Director. The main responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
Review and report on the results of the Far Eastern subsidiary.
Preparation of Consolidated results.
Preparation and development of detailed management information for circulation/discussion to all managers.
Preparation budgets and detailed monthly reforecasts.
Ensure tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, Corporation tax.
Preparation of detailed weekly cash forecasts.
Management of the cash position and relationship with our bank providers.
Managing US$ forward contracts including monthly US$ cash forecast.
Managing year end Audit/Tax process, liaise with Auditors and Tax Advisors as required.
Liaising with operations and sales teams to ensure financial controls and procedures in place.
Run monthly forecast meetings with sales and purchasing
Review stock levels monthly, and where appropriate set and maintain safety stock levels, to push out orders where stock not required in line with forecast
Monitor and report on stock holding vs budget and forecast.Profile:
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who ideally has Financial Controller experience in an SME or larger business, in a hands on role managing month end, analysis and reporting and working closely with heads of departments and the senior management team.
It would be ideal to have some experience of stock & inventory, sales forecasting and to be looking for a step up up to Finance Director in circa 2 years.
On Offer:
A highly competitive salary of circa GBP70,000 plus bonus, shares in the company and hybrid working in the office either 2 or 3 days per week
