SHEQ Director – Groundworks – West Midlands – Set the strategy

Our client is a growing groundworks contractor who've had exponential growth which is a huge industry success story. Now operating from various regional offices they deliver groundworks packages for a client base of national housebuilders. Due to controlled growth they are recruiting a SHEQ Director to oversee health and safety strategy and act as a functional lead for a team of SHEQ Managers across regional offices. The role will be office based in the West Midlands with visits to regional offices as necessary. As a key part of the senior leadership team the SHEQ Director will:

* Provide functional support for the SHEQ team across the business

* Develop policy process and standards for SHEQ within the business

* Review and improve quality management systems within the business as necessary

* Promote and lead SHEQ culture within the business

To be considered for the role you'll have a background and track record in a senior leadership role in health and safety with a recognised civils or groundworks contractor.
