In House Solicitor/Legal Counsel - Cardiff/Hybrid - Parking on site
Your new company

Their Legal Team plays an important role in supporting the business to be able to deliver high quality essential services and they are currently looking for a Solicitor to join their In-House Legal team in Cardiff. The team are working in a hybrid manner, and it is expected that you will go into the office two days per week, with the rest from home, therefore it is anticipated that you will live within a commutable distance of Cardiff.
Your new role
Within this role, you will develop good working relationships with the operational, retail and developer services parts of the business to enable you to provide practical and tailored legal advice. You will be advising on and managing contentious land, property and planning matters, advising on environmental law and working with Counsel on related contentious matters and drafting and reviewing contracts and supervising junior colleagues. This will be a broad and varied role and you should be proactive in developing your skills and knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Solicitor with 4+ PQE, however PQE is a guide and other relevant skills and experience will be considered. You will be working in a city or regionally based firm, or an in-house legal team. Contentious property experience is essential for this role; any experience with commercial contracts would be a bonus but is not a prerequisite. Being able to deliver accurate and reliable advice, in a user-friendly format will be key in this role.
