Part-Time FD, 2-4 days per month, £500-600 per day
FD Recruit has a unique opportunity for an experienced Part-Time FD to work with a small growing consultancy based near Chester. The company has a full-time finance manager but they are looking for a Part-Time FD to work alongside the newly formed management team.
The role will be varied and challenging and will include the following key responsibilities:
Required experience:
The role will require a regular 1-2 days per month with the occasional need for extra days when any projects arise. If you have experience of working as a Part-Time FD then we'd like to hear from you.

- Helping the business with technical queries and tax planning
- Providing financial data for the directors
- Commercial analysis
- Advise regarding treasury
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Mentoring the Finance Manager and small finance team
Required experience:
- Qualified Finance Director
- Experience as a Part-Time FD with a history of working with SME clients
- Commercial acumen and a strong influencer
- Experience of working with xero accounts would be beneficial.
