Meraki Talent are engaged on an excellent permanent Director of Consultancy opportunity based in the central belt of Scotland paying a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
The Opportunity
This challenger Consultancy has phenomenal investment and backing which has allowed them to capture several high–profile assignments and clients from "Big Four" and "Top Tier" Consultancies in recent years. They are on a high growth trajectory with the Consultancy offering forecasted to expand tenfold over the next five years which can provide a clear pathway for the successful individual to become a shareholder within the business.
They also specialise in short and sharp projects with the average lifespan being 3–6 months which results in huge diversity, variety and excellent all–round exposure. The assignments could range from the planning and execution of integrating two businesses together to leading on a company wide digital transformation project.
Role Components
The position of Director of Consultancy will have three main components:
We are keen to engage with individuals that have strong consultancy experience within the financial services sector, this would ideally be within a Consultancy/Advisory Firm however inhouse financial services consultancy experience will also be considered. Exposure to assignments involving integrations, regulatory change, distribution, products and digital transformation would be advantageous but not essential.

- Consultancy delivery – leading on high value & profile financial services projects/assignments
- People management – hiring, training, personal development, resource utilisation, work delegation/review
- Networking/Business development – enhancing the Consultancy brand & reputation, building & maintaining a strong financial services network, client pitches & tenders
