JOB TITLE: In-house Legal Counsel
PQE REQUIRED: 2+

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Head of Legal - UK and working closely with the wider legal team, this is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Commercial Counsel to join a fast-paced start-up during a period of rapid growth, and to further carve out and help to develop the legal function.
The legal team plays a vital role in the growth of the company which creates apps, algorithms and produces innovation and efficiencies in a highly competitive market.
The role will include (but will not be limited to)
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts in line with business requirements and company policies; also assisting with the drafting and reviewing of standard terms for use with both clients and suppliers. • Assisting with general contact matters as appropriate within the business. • Liaising with and supporting colleagues as the operational needs of the business dictate. • Assisting with the development and delivery of commercial legal training.
THE CANDIDATE: Applications are invited from UK qualified lawyers with 2+ years PQE in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements gained from a leading law firm or in-house team. More importantly the successful candidate will be an articulate, self-motivated individual who possesses strong organisation skills. The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels in various jurisdictions.
