Are you ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified?
We are looking for a qualified Finance Director who has a history of building finance teams, implementing new processes and policies within a fast-growing business and ideally someone who has worked in an FTSE/PLC company.
Due to the company's immense growth over the last few years our client, a global-wide logistics company is now looking for an experienced finance director to join their team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and take full responsibility for the business's finance operations in the UK.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO and directors offering support.
- Oversee day-to-day function of the finance operations.
- Be able to interpret complex financial information to investors and executives.
- Ensure financial practices are in line with current legislation and regulations.
- Implement new processes and plans where required.
- Implement methods and practices to reduce financial risks.
- Management of the finance team including recruitment, performance management and training.
- Management accounts, invoicing and end-of-year accounts.
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- History of building finance teams and implementing new processes and policies.
- Experience working in a high-growth SME company.
