The BusinessNigel Wright are delighted to partner with a growing and dynamic PE backed manufacturing business in the North East, who are looking to add a Financial Controller into their team. The Role
- As the Site Controller, you will have financial responsibility the largest site in the Group
- You will manage a team of 3–4 who in turn, manage a wider team of 12 between them
- The FC will have financial responsibility for the site – management & financial accounting, along with stock/costing, etc.
- It's important the FC is a strong communicator and is both willing and able to engage the non–finance teams/leadership across the site – operations, commercial, etc.
- Day to day responsibilities will include management & financial accounts, forecasting, budgeting, monthly re–forecasting, contract costing, revenue recognition, preparation of Board reports and presentation of monthly results to the site leadership team
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong technical background
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage, challenge and influence across the wider business
- Background – candidates will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- Salary upto GBP70k
