The Role

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operate Talent Operations Leader, and working with the wider recruitment and talent teams as well as a range of key stakeholders, you will quickly develop an understanding of the Operate business to identify the volume of early career (Associate grade) hiring required short, medium and long term and design and implement a strategy to deliver.

  • Work with stakeholders to identify the volume and skills required across each of our key business areas and in conjunction with the Talent Operations Leader, design and implement a strategy to deliver at pace and scale utilising our current talent channels (HLA's, Talent Pool and Assured Skills) as well as identifying new channels.

  • Influence and drive recruiters and third party providers for maximum delivery of all necessary activities such as the creation of impactful and relevant job descriptions and leveraging job boards and attraction campaigns to ensure a constant pipeline of talent

  • Identify, develop and maintain strong partnerships across the school, college and university network maximising all opportunities to engage with potential talent

  • Drive metrics and processes to better measure achievements and increase conversion rates

  • Review and improve the quality of candidates through effective selection methods including assessments and interviews as well as the use of technology.

  • Represent PwC and Operate at relevant internal and external events and where there are opportunities to passionately and credibly inform our future pipeline of talent

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience of driving the pipeline, delivery and operational governance of large scale recruitment projects including conducting interviews

  • A well developed network across the education sector and previous experience in early careers attraction and recruitment is preferable

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about early years talent channels and effective engagement activities

  • Strong commercial thinking and business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture and translate strategic thinking into a detailed operational plan

  • An effective communicator and influencer with a track record of successfully building valuable and credible relationships

  • Creative and visionary, forward thinking, and proactive as well as delivery focussed

  • Ability to motivate others and demonstrate strong team–work

Base Location

The role will be based in Belfast, however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may be asked to travel to other UK locations for short periods. Candidates who are unable or do not wish to work in other locations will still be considered.
