THE ROLE
A corporate commercial lawyer is now sought to join the company's collegial legal team.
The role reports to the Director of Corporate and Commercial with whom you will handle all legal aspects of the business, with specific input on major projects and strategic ventures, while contentious work is managed by other members of the team.
The role is likely to include reviewing, drafting and amending a wide range of contracts such as ad-hoc agreements, engagement letters as well as NDAs.
The role will also require support on corporate M&A transactions and general commercial matters, with the internal marketing team on affiliate agreements and agency and licensing agreements and the provision of legal and regulatory support to the business on various and upcoming financial services regulations
You will be liaising regularly with other lawyers in the different jurisdictions in which the business operates.
ABOUT YOU
A solicitor NQ-1pqe, you will be looking to handle a range of corporate or commercial work within a financial services organisation.
Experience in corporate (M&A) and/or commercial (negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts) is ideal for this role.
An interest in financial services, employment, company secretarial, regulatory and IP/IT is desirable.
The ability to speak French would be useful but is not essential.
