Legal Counsel - Cambridgeshire

Legal Counsel required for a global manufacturing business situated in the Cambridgeshire region with hybrid working arrangements on offer.

The successful applicant will provide legal support for a broad range of issues and business concerns including commercial, distribution, purchasing, dispute resolution (including litigation) and employment law matters.

This generalist role provides legal expertise on significant legal issues, conducts analysis and provides counsel to senior business leaders responsible for manufacturing operations and sales & marketing.

Candidate Specification:
  • Legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive) with a minimum of three years PQE
  • Candidates will be considered with an In-House or Private Practice background
  • Experience within general commercial contracts with a proven track record of drafting and reviewing commercial and research agreements, as well as CDA's.
  • Proven customer relationship skills
  • Exposure to drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements
  • Efficient time management to manage the needs of multiple clients
  • Good attention to detail, be organised with have the ability to work well under pressure
Salary up to £70,000 per annum plus bonus, car allowance and excellent benefits with hybrid working on offer (minimum of two days a week in the office).
