Head of Financial Control

Head of Financial Control | Fintech | £100-120,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Location: London (hybrid working)

A multinational Fintech business is looking for a Head of Financial Control. The Head of Financial Control will lead the financial reporting and control function (team of 12 with 3 direct reports) through an exciting period of change, growth and transformation. The Head of Financial Control will lead the day to day processes, drive process, systems & controls improvements and develop the team. The Head of Financial Control will report into the Director of Finance.

This Head of Financial Control is a really important hire for the business. The company has experienced an exciting period of growth (and continues to grow rapidly) and the business is now looking to better define its process and controls environment. This individual will play a lead role in that transformation. They have systems in place (Netsuite) but they need refining and the processes need improving to make them super efficient and enable them to achieve their ongoing ambitious growth plans.

The Head of Financial Control will require strong technical skills (IFRS - ideally exposure to IFRS 15, 16 & 9), excellent knowledge of financial reporting and exposure to owning & improving the controls environment. Candidates from any sector will be considered but this individual must be a qualified accountant (ideally practice trained ACA / CA / CPA / ACCA) with significant post-qualified experience and strong management exposure.
