Responsibilities:
- Quality check and ensure our services to our client is of the highest standards
- Oversee the execution of tests, whilst also providing advice and guidance to the Test Analysts/SMEs
- Collate and manage the Incident Log, chairing the Defect Review Board for the testers as well as leading the management of defects
- Produce Test Progress Reports based on input from the Test Analysts / SMEs whilst also engaging business / end users during the production of test scenarios and scripts
- Peer review UAT scenarios and scripts as well as formally briefing business / end users on the UAT objectives, processes, roles and responsibilities
- Assist businesses /end users with early witnessing of functionality prior to UAT (for non–agile delivery) and test scenario design and test script execution whilst structuring tests in accordance with the Agile Test Pyramid
- You will use test automation including CI on an open source JavaScript tech stack
- Assist with any other reasonable tasks within the context of the role/team/department as specified by the line or authorised manager
Knowledge:
- Shift left test approach
- Understand/analyse user stories and their acceptance criteria and attend meetings to clarify user stories and changes
- Strong working knowledge of Jira/Zephyr as project, test and defect management tool
- Execute test cases/scripts and log defects as necessary
- Test automation knowledge with Java Script based automation framework
- A solid understanding of Specification by Example
- A solid understanding of Continuous Integration
- A solid understanding of Continuous Delivery
- Collaborative test–driven techniques such as ATDD, BDD etc.
- Agile and/or Lean software development approaches
- Exploratory Testing techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Prioritize tasks that could help deliver a shippable product at the end of every sprint
- Outstanding attention to detail, with logical approaches at the forefront of your thinking
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in Agile team
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing of which at least 1 year in Agile testing
- 2 years' experience working as a Senior Tester
- Experience of testing web, and mobile application
- Working with automation team to identify cases for automation and as well as exploratory and acceptance testing
- Design tests
- Working with the product owner and collaborate with the development and testing teams
- Identifying risks and mitigate these wherever possible
- Experience in Front end, Backend and API testing
- Experience with SQL an advantage
- Experience with JavaScript an advantage
- Knowledge in gambling and casinos industry
