Financial Controller

Location: remote working

Salary: GBP60,000 – GBP75,000

Summary:

Our client is a market leading carrier with a range of global delivery, data and customer experience solutions and is looking to recruit a qualified Financial Controller with experience from the Logistics or E–Comm sector.

This role will be home based but you will be required to attend meetings in London/Heathrow.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accounts in accordance with IFRS and filing monthly/annual tax and VAT returns

Set up and optimise business processes

Prepare, analyse and present monthly/quarterly results to management

Prepare short and long term plans and budgets. Analysing Capex and Opex investment proposals and provide recommendation.

Manage insurance and comply to internal controls and policies

Key Skills/Experience:

Experience in managing finance operations within a logistics, e–commerce or FMCG business

Sound knowledge of product/service costing

Advanced Excel knowledge. Oracle ERP and WMS would be an advantage

Qualified/part qualified in ACCA, ACA or CIMA
