Property Lawyer
The work
- Assisting one of our Directors on large scale development projects from site acquisition to final disposal.
- Setting up developments for plot sales and affordable housing phased transfers;
- Working on a rich mixture of real estate work including conveyancing, infrastructure agreements, acquisitions and disposals;
- Working on large commercial mixed–use developments comprising some of the most important sites in London and the South as well as acting for some of the country's leading housebuilders;
- Providing real hands–on commercial advice and assistance to clients;
- working with the Director to provide advice to clients on how to navigate the changes that are going to need to be made a world that is ever more more focusing on the ESG status and environmental impact of house–building and development
The candidate
- At least 1 to 2 year's good relevant experience in a UK legal practice but we are interested in candidates who also have greater length of experience;
- Has strong property experience and a desire to be further trained in all aspects of development work (commercial and residential) including planning work;
- Has strong technical and IT skills;
- Prefers quality to quantity;
- Likes the idea of working in a small fantastically skilled environment;
- Wants to build something of their own to be proud of but who is also a strong team member and wants to develop their practice in a positive fast growing environment.
- Likes helping their colleagues;
- Has a desire to develop all of the skills required to be a successful lawyer, not just the technical, legal side of it.
