Business Development Manager – Permanent with Industria Personnel Services Ltd

About the role
This role would suit a socially adept, confident, and hardworking individual, who can also work as part of a team, capable of working to a high standard.
We are seeking a versatile, committed, and ambitious individual who has some previous experience in a face–to–face service or sales role or a graduate looking to start their career path in a sales role with us.

Responsibilities
To proactively develop new business opportunities for the company, to expand and diversify our client's database
To deliver new sales volumes consistently, working under your own initiative by identify new prospects, presenting our services and maintaining an excellent relationship with client partners
Achieving individual sales targets to work towards the company growth strategy
Researching organisations to identify new leads and identify the key decision makers. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Daily sales activity and updating company database
Pipeline management, creating and submitting rate proposals to client's prospects ensuring company templates and branded documentation is utilised to ensure brand consistency
Creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations to prospective clients
Handling any new client queries, ensuring credit checks and new supplier forms are completed
Maintain a high quality relationships with internal and external contacts
Attending meetings with directors once a moth to present and update on sales targets and pipeline progress
Working closely with the Branch & Operations Managers to ensure that introductions to new client partners are implemented as well as attending client service reviews and quarterly business reviews
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Networking is also critical in this position, you may be required to travel to conferences, business meetings and industry events
Qualifications, Skills & Training
Experience in delivering sales presentations is essential.
Experience of working within the recruitment sector is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent communicator.
A high attention to detail with an excellent editing and proofing ability.
Excellent literacy skills, with an extensive vocabulary.
Deadline driven with effective time management skills.
Thrive in a busy environment.
High level knowledge of English language.
Excellent written communication skills.
The ability to think clearly using logic and reasoning.
Ability to work efficiently, with excellent time management and organisation skills.
IT fluency; for diarising daily duties and updating information onto the company CRM.
The ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, prioritising and triaging obligations.
Strong administration skills.
Further on the job training within the business will be provided
As this role is field and office based a full UK driving licence is also essential
Based at our head office in Leicester Centre working hours 9am–5pm Monday – Friday however flexibility is required
