My client is a successful, growing business operating in the Pharma / Healthcare. The UK&I business is primarily spread across the North or England, with a concentration around Leeds. They continue to invest in their people, infrastructure and technology to maintain their market position.

Description

As the Head of Procurement you will:

• Support and develop the team across the region ensuring they have clear objectives and are fully engaged with the sites they support. This will include developing a success plan, identifying training needs, and building a high performing function
• Build a strong internal network enabling an efficient induction and quickly understanding the business needs
• Review the spend portfolio for the UK&I region identify risks, supplier development opportunities, and new sourcing opportunities
• Review systems and processes to ensure they support the team
• Raise the profile of the function reporting to the SLT on a regular basis
• Work with other regions to share best practice, suppliers, and innovation

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record in a regulated environment, ideally Pharma or Healthcare
• A proven leader used to developing teams and raising performance
• Experience of managing a wide spend portfolio
• Proven in managing stakeholders across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites
• Effective risk management within the supply chain

Job Offer

circa GBP80,000 + car + package

The role offers flexible working, however, as a leadership role travel to sites will be required
