Are you a Head of Procurement or a Senior individual looking to rise to a new challenge?
Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Global Head of Procurement to identify efficient and cost–effective purchasing processes within in a fast paced, rapidly expanding global organisation.
As a Global Head of Procurement, your responibility will be to set relevant policies, managing the Global supplier base, developing suite of internal Data and Analytics around the procurement function and the management of the overall procurement lifecycle.
You will become part of a well–established team which is a core part of Pepper's operations and will recieve ample support to be successful in your role.
As a Global Head of Procurement, your main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards around purchasing and efficient P2P system across the markets
- Ensuring procurement sources are secure and sustainable and continually optimising the suppliers' database
- Reviewing current contracts to ensure they represent best value in terms of costs and deliverables. Ensuring all contracts in the future adhere to Pepper Advantage standards
- Maintaining an in–depth knowledge of the market to ensure best value and practices are maintained
- Acting as the main contact point for organisational procurement related questions
- Interact with other managers to provide project management expertise to deliver change
- Managing RFI and relevant procurement processes with key suppliers/contracts
- Along with relevant BU executives, ensuring that providers adhere to agreed SLAs.
- Manage renegotiations with providers should a contract be extended

Essential Skills
- You will need to have extensive knowledge which has been developed working in a procurement role, ideally across a Global business
- Have more than five years of experience in this field
- You will have the ability to make important decisions in a pressurised environment
- You will have evidence of commercial and financial awareness
- You will be detail orientated, comfortable working with data and producing actionable analytics and able to work to tight deadlines.
- You will be enthusiastic, and a positive member of the team recognised by your colleagues as a valued and effective team player.
- You will be required to work within established internal controls and maintain a high standard of quality across all your tasks.
- Being open to the the ability to travel and work non–standard hours
Desirable Skills
In addition, to the above, the following skills are desirable:
- You will need to be self–reliant and self–motivated.
- You will be detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
