Saïd Business School is recruiting for an EMBA Programme Director reporting to the Associate Dean, MBA and Executive Programmes.

This is an exciting and important leadership position within the School, representing one of its most prestigious flagship degree programmes. The Executive MBA is currently placed 12th in the Financial Times annual rankings, and 1st in the UK for single school programmes. The Executive MBA is a modular postgraduate degree, attracting senior executives from over 30 countries to two intakes of the programme each year. Each intake accepts 70 students, generating more than GBP12 million income per annum for the School.

The Programme Director will work with students, faculty and staff to ensure that the School fulfils its mission to develop leaders who can tackle world–scale problems. As the Programme Director, you will be responsible for managing the annual rankings submission to external organisations, working with the Associate Dean and the School's rankings manager to provide timely and accurate reporting of data.

This is a multi–faceted, ambassadorial, role with a broad scope, encompassing the student experience from EMBA candidate through to graduation. The scope of these responsibilities is designed to maintain our exceptional student experience and prepare graduates for complex leadership positions around the world. The Programme Director plays a key role as curator of programme content, interpreting and connecting all aspects of the learning journey for students and faculty. S/he also oversees the recruitment and operational teams, ensuring that the School delivers the programme's financial and quality targets. The EMBA Programme Director is responsible for maintaining and developing the global experiences which form part of the core curriculum. As the world recovers from the global pandemic, this, and the ongoing development of digital content to supplement in–person teaching, will be key priorities.

Compelling candidates for this role will demonstrate strong management skills; convincing leadership and team development experience; evidence of fostering cross–organisation collaboration; a passionate belief in the value of business education; and the ability to motivate others to achieve results.

Candidates will have substantial team leadership experience, including managing and setting targets, and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Ideally, candidates will have notable experience of revenue generation from within a Higher Education or corporate environment. They will also have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, and will demonstrate a confident engagement style with senior level audiences across multiple cultures and backgrounds. Experience with postgraduate students is desirable.

For an informal and confidential discussion, please speak with our advisor at Berwick Partners, Alex Albone.

The deadline for applications is Monday 6th June 2022

Please note we start screening CVs and interviewing candidates from the start of a campaign. The successful candidate could progress to advanced stages of the selection process ahead of the advertised closing date, so we therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible if you are interested in the position
