Senior Project Manager (Agile) – The Role:
Hands–on Senior Project Manager (Agile) who has hands on experience with project leadership within the payment's industry on Payments Gateway or Acquiring solution delivery. This critical role will see you support the business, technical and project management function for our payment systems. You will be key link between the business and technical delivery teams.
We are ideally looking for someone who has extensive experience as an Agile Project Manager comfortable working with a range of stakeholders to deliver sustainable technical business solutions to complex challenges. Key to this role is the ability to break down the high–level goals of the strategy into Epics, feature and stories, that the delivery team can implement.
It is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate expert technical knowledge in payments and partner closely with the Technical Team to lead workshops with the business and produce activity reports for project stakeholders.
Senior Project Manager (Agile) – Key Responsibilities:
– Communicating, influencing and selling of program to executive / senior management and key stakeholders both within Trust Payments and customers
– Ensuring solution design and development is performed in line with these standards and vision, fully meeting business requirements
– Raise and escalate any necessary technical issues or risks
– Setting and assistance in defining non–functional requirements, including but not limited to availability, supportability, performance, scalability and security
– Provision of regular management reporting on planning, progress, issues, risks and actions
– All relevant documentation within scope of remit is created, maintained, up to date, approved and available
– Collaborate with the rest of the business and technical team to design and launch new features
– Balancing tactical business need, with strategic ambitions, keeping the two aligned where feasible.
– Creating databases for functionality
– Designing and developing API Platform strategy
Senior Project Manager (Agile) – You:
– 10+ years commercial experience as Senior Project Manager in Agile, (ideally having come from software development background)
– Ideally either Payments sector or Financial Services sector or Software House experience
– Demonstrable payment processing and acquiring experience
– Sound experience with system development life cycle of Payment Infrastructure
– Hold a software delivery lifecycle certification such as Scrum, AGILE (highly advantageous)
– Ideally have experience in delivering projects in Python, Java , AWS Redshift, Tableau, JavaScript
– Have advanced SQL skills and able to operate Microsoft packages or equivalent
– Proficient at building relationships at all levels and influencing a range of senior stakeholders confidently, challenging decision making to help drive continuous innovative improvements.
– Solution–focused approach and the ability to make objective decisions and recommendations
– Ideally either Payments sector or Financial Services sector or Software House experience
– Highly proficient in Public cloud technical architecture solutions (Azure)
– DevOps practices, processes, tools & techniques beneficial
– Agile PM skills a must
